HeartLab 2011 was held November 9 - 12, 2011 at a new location in the Hotel Hilton Airport Zurich. An International Faculty of Experts has coached up-to-date techniques in less invasive cardio-vascular surgery, as every year.
Hands-on practice on realistic anatomical models were available for every participant. This makes HeartLab a unique experience.
 Dear colleagues,
HeartLab International is already organizing its 16th hands-on workshop, based on our unique concept:
First, a specific cardio-vascular surgical technique is introduced by an expert in the field, then demonstrated live, using a realistic model holding a complete anatomical situs.
Second, the participants perform the same surgical procedure in parallel on identical models specially developed and equipped for this purpose.
Third, the on-site and past experiences are wrapped up in a chaired discussion including the primary expert as well as all the participants.
Because of an international faculty of very well known and experienced surgeons who support our course and its specific format, this method has been successfully applied to the fourteen previous HeartLab meetings.
Together with my colleagues from the faculty, we look forward to welcome you at our next HeartLab Workshop which will be held in Zurich from November 28 - 1st, December 2011.
Attention: For the participants' and faculty's convenience,
"HeartLab 2011" will be held at a NEW location, the Zurich Airport Hilton.
The preliminary program will be available later in 2012, which is good news for all interested surgeons and of course our partners from the industry who will make available their latest technology. Please mark your calendars to join "HeartLab 2012" November 28 - 1st December 2012 !
